Sarah’s been working predominantly in reggae on saxophones, flute and clarinet. She overdubs horns and vocals for many top artists and producers, recording for people in UK, The Caribbean, Africa, Europe, Asia etc. Much of her recording work is currently done from home, where she's been recording herself and others over the past 10 years.


Recordings - from - home this year include blowing a bit of sax on “God Is Standing By” Charity Remix alongside George Nooks, Pam Hall, Duane Stephenson, Lukie D and Chardel Rhoden, also recordings for Carroll Thompson, Winston Reedy, Mad Professor and Joe Ariwa, Starkey Banton, Alan Weekes, Henry Matic Tenyue, Patrick Tenyue, Harmonie Deja, JJ BornToSing, Winston and Lee Francis...she also ventured outdoors to record with Prince Malachi and Keety Roots.


With the return of live music,there are future performances with Makeda Moore, Winston Reedy, Vivian Jones, Teshay Makeda, Lloyd Brown, Big Youth, The Pioneers, Dave Barker, Dennis Alcapone, Freddie Notes, Susan Cadogan, Christopher Ellis, Tippa Irie, Roger Robin, Peter Hunnigale, and Winsome.


This year there have been streamed shows playing sax with Tippa Irie, and regular appearances as a resident musician with Kamitan Arts collaborating on live-stream with poets, rappers, musicians and sound healers. Sarah has also worked as a solo entertainer in 2020, at several online events and real - life private functions. At one she played Afrobeats , Gospel and RnB, and another was Bollywood and James Bond theme tunes.




Over the past few years she has played live shows with artists including Big Youth, U Roy, Janet Kay, Carroll Thompson, Susan Cadogan, Tippa Irie, Johnny Osbourne, The Pioneers, The Aces, Glen Washington, Derrick Morgan, The Cimarons, Dave and Ansel Collins, Owen Gray, Rhoda Dakar, Neville Staple and Roddy Radiation (ex Specials), Levi Roots, Lloyd Brown, Teshay Makeda, Aysha Loren, Christopher Ellis supporting Damien Marley, and with Giants Of Lovers Rock at the O2.

She’s played in party bands Havana Nights and Motown Nights, and also as a solo performer.



She played live on Kool FM radio in Kingston Jamaica in 2017 with Dennis Alcapone and Winston Reedy, on BBC London Robert Elms show in 2018 with Susan Cadogan, and on David Rodigan's BBC 1Xtra show in 2019 with Lloyd Brown.


She has played in many styles including salsa, son, ska, reggae, merengue, hi-life, hip hop, house, lounge, gospel, rock, orchestral pop... She has also dabbled in bass, guitar, percussion, and voice.


She's played in her current hometown London, at venues including The Jazz Cafe, The O2, Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, The Roundhouse, The Scala, Hammersmith Apollo, Hackney Empire, The British Film Institute, Fabric, Barbican, Ocean, the V & A, The 100 Club, Ronnie Scott's, Ministry of Sound, and was the first live musician to play the Miniscule of Sound...


English events she has played at include Glastonbury, Boomtown, Latitude, The Big Chill, Notting Hill Carnival, Boss Sounds, The London International Ska Festival, One Love Festival, Secret Garden Party, Shambala, Skamouth, British Independent Film Awards, Bestival...


She has played in Britain, Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Italy, Sicily, Poland, Austria, Denmark, Lithuania, Louisiana, Texas, Bahrain, Ghana, Gambia, Jamaica, the Caribbean Sea and Russia.


As well as playing for top artists in traditional stage settings, and with DJ's on the dance floor, Sarah has played at all kinds of special events and art galleries, in street bands, in shop windows, on boats, cruise ships, and buses, on a steam-powered merry-go-round, in the middle of a lake, under the trees, on hilltops, a wedding proposal by a river, strapped in a chair up in the air, as a pop- up- out- of- a- bin walkabout sax, as the back end of a dragon at the Millennium Dome, at a health centre in Toxteth, in a 20-piece all-women sax/vocal group...
